The first peas of the season are the sweetest, and so is this hat.
This is an easy and adorable hat to knit with minimal finishing: the hat is knitted in the round, changing to green for the stem. The peas and pod are worked separately and sewn on so there are only your casting-on and binding-off ends to work in.
The finished measurements for this hat are 16" and 18".
The yarn is Peaches & Creme 100% unmercerized cotton in worsted weight; the hat is light blue, the stem and pod are medium green, and the peas are a bright, lime green. This yarn is soft, has a nice hand, and works up quickly at 4sts=1" in stockinette stitch on size 7 needles (needles not included).
The kit contains enough yarn to make the larger size hat plus complete instructions.
