Jaunty is the best word, I think, to describe this hat and scarf set: ready for any adventure that may come along.
This adorable set is easy and quick to make: the hat is trimmed with a garter band and topped with a matching loop. It is worked in the round, so you only have your casting-on and binding-off ends to work in.
The scarf is worked all in garter stitch, a great complement to varigated yarns.
The finished measurements for the hat are 16" and 18", and the scarf is approximately 4"x26".
The yarn called for is worsted weight that works up at 4sts/1".
The set shown is worked in Peaches n Creme cotton in white and strawberry cream, a varigated pink yarn. Just a starting point for color choices!
